In our late 70's and living in Marin, Princess spoiles us with their new terminal in San Francisco. It's so easy to board & go, and depart the ship back in San Francisco. The 10-night Mexican Riviera cruise was great. The Grand Princess is laid out well, the crew both personable and good at their jobs. The food in the main dining room is good, but nothing too special. The specialtiy restaurants were special. The Buffet food was quite good and fresh.

And, the In the past, we've enjoyed the morning and afternoon talks, especially on an Hawaiian cruise two years ago. It would be nice to have had similar talks about the ports to be visited on the three days at sea before the first port of call. The value is very good; the evening stage entertainment was generally good (my wife didn't appreciate one of the comedians) and the shows in the smaller bar venues were good.

Overall, Princess is an excellent bargain, with very good customer service spirit.

The cabin was very nice and the attendant was very helpful and personable. The only complaint was a knocking nioice that started around midnight each night and then stopped at about six every morning.
