Having already taken an Eastern and Western Caribbean, a Transitional Panama and a Full Panama, we thought that we had seen almost all of the Caribbean. Suddenly we discovered this "new" cruise to six new ports. I personally have some knee surgery mobility issues, and was overwhelmed by the service that I received that exceeded my expectations. We are eligible for Priority Boarding and Disembarkation as high tiered passengers, but still the service was SUPERB.

Food, entertainment, and activities were all very good. One of our favorites on the Royal Princess is the Movie Channels feature which allow you to view in room, as many as 100+ current movies. This is a great feature for us every night at bedtime, early morning pre-Breakfast, and for a relaxing in room afternoon break.

The excursions we took were all well priced and enjoyed, except for one...the Atlantis Hotel in Nassau. We stood in line at three locations for a total of 43 minutes before boarding our Shuttle buses. We also had to walk the entire pier of approx. 1000m before boarding buses. At Atlantis we walked a lengthy distance from the bus departure to the Hotel and through all the shops and Casino before seeing the Aquarium, the highlight of the visit. I was in great physical distress by then and sat for an hour as my wife took the tour. We then made the lengthy return to the ship. My excursion consisted of paying the most expensive price of four trips to stand in line, made to walk way too far, physically punished and then return without seeing anything other than a Casino walk through. The Excursion Desk was very nonchalant about my concerns as I felt that we had been scammed, and basically responded that I should have known it would be a long walk ?? This incident marred what would have been an Outstanding trip in a superior Mini-Suite room. The food was always varied, plentiful, and of fine quality; there are so many dining opportunities.

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin ME

Very clean, spacious and modern. However, we were given a complimentary upgrade from a Deluxe Balcony Mid-ship to floor 15 forward which was very noisy from Level 16 Pool Deck, furniture movement and foot traffic.

Port Reviews

St. Lucia

Private 3 hour tour of the island in a comfortable Nissan SUV and a knowledgeable tour guide, resident.
