We wanted to visit the Norwegian Fiords plus experience the Military Tattoo at Edinburgh Castle. The small ship experience was wonderful. The ports and a visit to the Arctic Circle were great and quite different than making port in large cities. Crew members were fantastic and many of them called us by name after only a couple of days. I think that our head waiter knew everyone's name by the second night and greeted us by name whenever he saw us. The ship held a feeling of intimacy as the public rooms were warm and drew you in in a special way. The smaller dining room was charming as were the several bars in the ship. Food was exceptionally good and the service excellent. The Geiranger Fiord was magnificent and other smaller fiords held other treasures. At the end of our cruise we were able to fit in a morning side trip to St. Andrews and that evening witnessed the Military Tattoo at Edinburgh Castle. That is a "not-to-be-missed" experience with military bands from many countries participating in a moving ceremony. I would heartily recommend this cruise to everyone looking for a wonderful adventure.

Wonderful itinerary, amazing crew
