The Royal Pricess is an over-the-top dazzling ship - beautiful and spotless. Unfortunately, the overall level of service is only fair, especially in the main dining rooms. We tried both Concerto and Symphony dining (menus are the same) with the same result. On a formal night we were told to stand in a staging area for dirty dishes - dressed in a tuxedo and gown - while the server looked for a table. Wet tile floor, plates of half eaten food, odors, etc. Server came back and pointed to a table about 20 yards away and told us it was ours and then walked away. The dining room was less than half full. Another night we ordered botlle of wine with a Princess Amenity (gift) card. Three different servers came and looked at the card before telling us they didn't stock that wine. The card was from Princess! We told them any white wine would be fine but it arrived half way through the meal. Another meal we ordered wine that didn't arrive until dessert. The food was also far below expectations. One night we were seated with 4 other people - three of them sent their food back because it was cold and unappetizing. The signature seafood stew is so full of shell fragments, many the shape and sharpness of needles, that it was not edible. It's hard to understand the dining room problems since the other dining venues were good to excellent. The dining room managers need a boot. We especially liked Alfredos Pizzeria - excellent food and service. The Horizon Buffet is also quite good. Entertainment was OK - Perry the piano player was very good.
Cabin was very nice but a little snug. Bathroom excellent.
Used All Stars shuttle from hotel to ship and ship to FLL. Excellent both times.
