This was our 20th anniversary trip, and we have cruised with Princess before and always been satisfied with the overall experience. We wanted to visit family in Florida, so this port and time frame was good for us. We had never done a western Caribbean trip before, and with the exception of Jamaica, it was a good trip. The ship was brand new (May 2016), but was not fitted as nicely as some of the other Princess ships we have sailed on. I chose to upgrade to a deluxe balcony stateroom, but was disappointed with a room very similar to a standard balcony. Not worth the extra $ and would not recommend the upgrade. We would probably have been better off going with a mini suite. The service was exceptional as always, but we noticed that the upkeep/maintenance was not quite to the level we have noticed in the past with Princess. Overall we enjoyed our time and were very well taken care of. We will sail with Princess again in the future. One more cruise to Platinum.

Deluxe Balcony

Cabin DB

Deluxe stateroom was really not larger than a standard balcony stateroom. Not a great value for the $, I wouldn't recommend it. This ship has smaller balconies and promenade was very narrow. Brand new ship (May 2016) and had a few issues. It didn't seem the maintenance was up to typical Princess standards. It was our 20th anniversary. We enjoyed the cruise and the service. We are a cruise away from Platinum, but Princess didn't really do anything for us this trip. I think it was a full ship though.
