The cruise was very nice and the weather was great. You are within sight of land most of the time so the ocean does not get very rough, however on our first day and last day it was fairly rough for a few hours as a cold front passed and caused some larger waves and swells.
The food was great and the entertainment was very good. The three ports are all distinct. If walking is for you, there are lots of opportunities at each of the ports. In Puerto Vallarta, take a bus to the Malecon and walk the sea wall, in Mazatlan, follow the blue line painted on the street to find old town and the helpful English speaking guides (mostly Canadians), and in Cabo San Lucas, take a bicycle taxi to town and then walk back.
This was the first cruise that I noticed that there was refundable and non refundable On Board Credit. What I did not see, until it was too late, was that if you have less than $20.00 OBC you have to go and collect the credit. If it is more than $20.00 it will be put back on your credit card. Just remember to check your on board account and collect your refund if you have one coming.
The cabin was very nice and the view out the cabin porthole was very nice (a bit obstructed but that was the category that we chose. Being on deck 15 though, you felt a lot of the ships movement. Choose this cabin if motion does not affect you.
