We had never travel to Scandinavia and thought the cruise would be a great way to experience many different cities in a short time. It didn't disappoint. The Regal is a beautiful ship and our cabin was nicely appointed. We booked the Enclave area in the spa for the journey and were able to relax in the steam room, sauna & pool when onboard. We took shore excursions at every port and overall were satisfied with the quality with a few being exceptional. The food onboard was very satisfactory and the service was excellent except for one night.
Our only complaint was the entertainment- not that there wasn't plenty of activities- just most of them were not of our interest. However we were never lacking things to do.
We used Princess Easy Air to book our flights which worked out well. We flew in a day early and arranged a hotel room through them also. We were greeted promptly when we arrived at the airport and transported to the hotel where our room was ready. Considering we had flown overnight that was much appreciated. Embarkation went smoothly as well as disembarkation and transfer back to the airport. All in all we had a wonderful experience.
The cabin was adequate and as always it was nice to have a balcony. Our steward was excellent.
We were docked beside the fortress and walked over. There was a wonderful Norwegian choir singing in the courtyard preparing for a wedding to be held there. We enjoyed walking through the fortress and grounds.
Our tour operator was excellent. The city was beautiful and impressive.
