Chose to go on this cruise to share witt a very close friend, that we have enjoyed traveling with over several continents. The departing harbor was ideal,, as we both live in Los Angeles and avoided the hassle of airports.. Embarkation and disembarkation for us went smoothly . Have traveled on many cruise lines before I found that the activities for 15 days were linited. They should have had a daily movie. The staff was friendly and had no complaints about the room service or dining room service. The comedy club was enjoyable and so was the entertainment. The adult comedy was very X-Rated!!. The weather was not the greatest lots of overcast and rainy days. The tender service in Kona was awful, depending on what number you got you could wait 4 hours to be taken to shore. Since it was raining we decided to stay onboard and went to guest services and complained that the activities for the onboard passengers was very limited and requested movies. They complied. Several passengers complained that it took about 5 hours to get back on tender to ship.

The aircondtioning was very cold and most of the passengers were coughing. My friends got very ill on the passage back to Los Angeles, and several people we met including myself got the cruise cold. It was the worst cold I ever had. There was no notification on ship, asking people with colds to stay in their cabins or wear a face mask. Everywhere you turned someone was hacking away!. I am on the road to recovery thank God. Bring face masks or ship should have some for passengers. I have taken this trip before on a different cruise line and would never do it again with Carnival.
