I only travel on Norwegian--I take care of my Mom who has advanced Parkinson's, and every 4-5 months I need to get away. Cruising seems the only mode of travel that can even come close to getting my mind away from things. I often hear people complaining about things on cruises. Well, people are human, and we all make mistakes. I'm just grateful I'm healthy enough to travel and meet exciting and interesting people and places. The people on ship and the staff of Norwegian are overwhelming gracious and good people, and this is what I always focus on. The Positive--there's plenty of it on ship. The food, accommodations, entertainment are top-notch.
I was fortunate enough to be in the Haven area, and was treated like royalty. At times, it was almost embarrassing how well I was treated. Yet, even when I was not in the Haven, the service was outstanding as well. Working on a ship is not easy. Being away from family for months at a time, long hours, etc.--yet, to see the smiles on their faces is admirable under the circumstances.
As part of the Haven, I was assigned a Butler and Concierge. They both became like family to me. Roland (Butler) and Anoop (Concierge) were extremely professional and helpful at all times. Kudos to them both for making my cruise so memorable.
The best address on the ship. Exquisite in every way.
