This was my third time on the Jade and it has become a bit outdated on decor and layout. The layout I will admit is one of the most awkward of any ship in their fleet. Le Bistro is tucked away and can be easily missed just walking by it. Moderno was added by cutting the former O'Sheehan,s in half and renaming one half Moderno and the other half blue lagoon. While dining in Moderno you literally share a space with another restaurant. I rate it average because the ship has always been well kept and is very clean. Cagney's is near a stairwell on the 13th deck and there is no exterior seating while waiting so people just sit on the stairs. This biggest noticeable improvement is the food. Norwegian is stepping up their game on each cruise I've taken and it is improving. The entertainment was recycled and repetitive.

I would definitely sail on the Jade again and there is plenty to keep you busy. I will say the cruise director is pretty self absorbed and spends a lot of time being the "on-ship"celebrity verses really interacting with passengers. The strong dollar is evident in Cozumel but forget it at Costa Maya. Roatan has improved on every visit and I have always felt safe. There always seems to be more and more offered. As for Harvest Caye I found it absolutely beautiful. The beach was expansive and the wildlife and plants were well planned. One needs to keep in mind this is a resort style visit with all the comforts of a resort. It is not like visiting a conventional port.
