We have been on many carnival cruises and this one was the worst of them all. Although leaving from new Orleans is a nice change from the busy Florida ports, the problems started as soon as we arrived on the ship. The cruise line tried to fix the problems, but the lack of communication between carnival workers was a consistent problem we encountered. Unless you spoke with a manager directly, problems were just going to turn into more problems.

The clientele consisted of many lower class people and 90 percent of them were newbies to both the cruise line and cruising in general. You could tell from their sign and sail cards.

The ship could use an update in many ways as the ship shows many signs from when it was originally built. Bathroom vanities were cracked and caulk was black. There is no voicemail system for the phones. There are many doors, walls and fixtures damaged.
