This was our 3rd cruise with Celebrity and overall, the line continues to offer an enjoyable vacation experience.
Embarkation went very well. We were there a little early so the line up wasn't very long and we were on board rather quickly. The ship itself was wonderful. Having sailed on her before, we felt like we were home. Our cabin (veranda) was perfect for us. The bed was very comfortable and the space was laid out very well.
We dined the first evening in the Tuscan and the meal was spectacular!!! We had the fillet with garlic mashed, spinach, and grilled asparagus. Oh my, SO GOOD!!! The main dining room offered a varied menu and we enjoyed all our meals there. The buffet restaurant was okay. The food stayed pretty much the same most every day, that is either good or bad depending on your perspective. We also had a lunch at the Porch. At $30 per person, it was overpriced for what we had, but for true seafood lovers, it would be a fair price. The food was good and we enjoyed the meal, but all we had was soup and sandwiches, so it wasn't really worth it for us.
I don't actually remember our cabin category, we had a veranda room with an unobstructed view. Very close to the front of the ship. The room was great, but there was lots of banging and clanging going on. I use earplugs to sleep and my husband could sleep through a train wreck, so it wasn't really a problem for us, but it could be an issues for others. Also the part of the ship seemed to have more sway that did other cabins we have had midship. Something to keep in mind for those who may be prone to motion sickness.
