This cruise was to celebrate our birthdays and our 55th anniversary. The stateroom in SY/SS category was very nice with lots of storage space. The bathroom needs more storage for makeup/toiletries. I am use to having the glass shelves for storage. There was one small drawer and a shelf under each sink. The entertainment was hit or miss for us. The big production numbers seem to be geared for the younger (than us) crowd. We did enjoy the duel piano players. Dined in the Pinnacle Grill, Canaletto, and Tamarind and the food and service was excellent. Main dining room food was good most of the time. Servers are stretched thin sometimes and service lacks because of this. The ship was not decorated yet for Christmas which was a little let down since we were on a back to back from Nov. 26-Dec.10. I had a touch of food poisoning for a couple of days and the medical staff took great care of me. Since we have been to the ports of call, we mostly stayed on the ship and relaxed. We did miss having educational lectures on sea days. Seems presentations are all about how to spend your money. There seems to be a big gap in communications between departments. It took 3-4 days for certain requests to be fulfilled and then only after numerous phone calls and a face to face with our concierge. We will still be sailing with Holland but probably on a limited basis.

Great location. Lots of storage space in cabin but not enough in bathroom.
