My friend and I chose MSC because they were offering a real deal on a 10 nite cruise. I was very impressed by the beauty and cleanliness of the ship. Our room which was an inside cabin was spacious and well laid out. Also more than ample space for our storage. The food in the buffet was more than great with scrumptious and plentiful desserts. Some of my minor concerns were remedied almost immediately. In fact when a mistake occurred which caused me a 20 minute wait at the desk I returned to my cabin later to find a bottle of champagne and some choclate covered fruit and an apology for the delay. Yumm!! This was the first time on a ship which mostly catered to Europeans so understandably we heard most announcements in 4 different languages. I will say however I have never been on a cruise where people were so rude. Sorry but it was the Europeans I was having to deal with. Also, make sure if you want to spend any time in a deck chair that you get up at 7AM to save one. People were putting towels out (even though it was against the rules) I would cruise with them again. Had a good but not great time!

Interior Stateroom

Cabin I1

Clean and spacious. Shower door leaked.

Port Reviews

Miami

We got to the port in Miami where we embarked. It was fast and organized and took no time at all.

Ocho Rios

We docked at Ocho Rios and the port was ugly. It was actually a commerical port. Ugly scenery.

Cartagena (Colombia)

Another ugly docking in a commercial port. The city itself was interesting.

Colon (Cristobal)

We were supposed to be dropped off at a mall in the city to shop. No such Mall it was nearly abandoned. The neighborhood was almost slum-like and I was a bit hesitant to walk the streets.
