Carnival Victory Cruise Review by mona_canada

- Destination: Bahamas
- Cabin Type: Interior with Picture Window (obstructed views)
The room Steward Arnold was terrific. We chose both morning & evening service & asked for robes. Everything was perfectly tended to.
Our room overlooked one of the "secret" decks. It was nice to be able to see outside.
One thing to note, with the new doors, and hallway lighting, light escaped into the room, so the days of a pitch Black inside room may be gone.
We had anytime dining & floated between waiters, which were all good.
We purchased cheers & had great service.
We enjoyed the coffee bar every mortning & lido pool bar service .
The comedians were great. The room that it is in has better visual lines that other ships. I am pretty sure you could see the comedian no matter where you sat. You still had to go about 30 minutes early to get a seat.
We visited the piano bar. The entertainer, repeated many songs & took a break shortly after starting. I believe his name is Dan, and he was not great.
We loved the mermaids & seahorses & the decor of the ship. Some may say it is dated, but I think it us full of character.
The hot tubs were mostly hot, and the aft ones were not filled with kids.
We loved the beach at half moon cay & enjoyed Junkanoo beach in Nassau .

Half Moon CayBeautiful beach, sand is super soft. Plenty of chairs. There are lockers to rent to store things. Tendering was very easy & fast. Lunch was ok, comparable to food on the ship.View All 1,180 Half Moon Cay Cruise Port Reviews
