Sail Date: Dec 2016
Cabin: Balcony

I have cruised the Sunshine previously with a friend for a seminar. When I got home I raved about it so much, this time went with my hubby and a group we put together. Everyone had rave reviews. Food was fantastic, Alchemy Bar lots of fun, Staff was beyond great, with the exception of two at the Lido buffet. Hasbro game show is a lot of fun for all ages. We came home so relaxed. We did get FTTF for the first time and well worth it! There were a few glitches with the FTTF getting off in port, but Guest Services was aware an made things right. The bed itself was very comfortable and we slept well, except our room was over the Ocean Plaza and the bands music was loud & clear in our room. We have been on over 20 cruises with 6 cruise lines. This was my 4th with Carnival. Would recommend this ship to anyone.

Cabin Review

Cabin 8B

Very nice. Plenty of storage. Loved the larger shower. A bit tight between the end of the bed and the counter. But overall, very pleased with our room.

Port Reviews

Grand Turk

Chilled on the beach. It was great. Be sure to disembark early to get one of the free chairs/umbrellas.

San Juan

Walked around and had wonderful lunch at a local restaurant.

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata)

Beautiful pool. Relaxed in a hammock and enjoyed the tropical breeze - and a few drinks!
