We chose this cruise for my 60th birthday celebration, big mistake!

The check in involved long waits which we have never previously experienced with any other cruise line but that was just the precursor to disaster. The room was acceptable but the shower area on this ship seemed smaller than any I have experienced but that could just be subjective. We weren't informed that the restaurant was open on the first night and as the safety muster started at the same time as our dining time, we missed out.

Having been on other cruises we expected the pizzeria to be a restaurant but it was more like a greasy spoon cafe (greasy being the operative word). The entertainment was sadly lacking and amateuristic (sp?) at best. The stage shows were brief and disappointing at best and people often walked out, as did we on the last night (one singer in particular. if he hit a single note, it was by pure chance)! Daytime entertainment was more of a sales operation than entertainment and the Captain couldn't even be bothered attending the Captain's Circle functions.
