My husband and I have sailed on 8 previous cruises...this was our 3rd with Royal Caribbean. Our previous RC experiences have been on the Allure and the Oasis which are very comparable to the Harmony of the Seas. This time we were sailing the Western Caribbean from December 3-10. The ship itself is stunningly beautiful. The public areas are bright and spacious and the art work on the ship is an amazing collection of pictures and sculptures using some very interesting media.

We had a balcony cabin on deck 6. There was plenty of space for the 2 of us and with 2 closets and 8 drawers there was more than enough space to put away all of our things. Nancy, our room stewart, kept things neat and tidy and always greeted us with a friendly "good morning" when we saw her in the halls.

Entertainment on the ship was mostly top quality. The cast of "Grease" performed for the last time as a group as a replacement cast was set to hit the stage the following week. It was obvious that this talented group was giving it their all for this final performance. We also enjoyed the talents of those who performed in the aqua dive show and ice shows.

We spent the day at Columbus Cove and had a great time in the water.

Lots of good shopping!

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

We used the RC bus transfer service and went directly from the airport to the ship.
