This was our first time on the Getaway and we really liked the ship, very easy to navigate.
Both the boarding and disembarkation process was awful, worst of any ship I have ever been on, port issues with customs vs. anything the ship did I believe, but NCL communication could have been better.
Room- when we can always choose an aft balcony, favorite on every ship., Our room steward was fabulous even though he seemed to be covering numerous rooms. Thanks to the good information on CC, I knew there was no drawers so brought some foldable cubes and that helped with any storage issues. Overall good set up and nice bathroom We had the bed by the closet which liked having more room to get in our and out of the balcony.
Great room, love Aft Balconies and book whenever possible, huge deck with two lounge chairs and two chairs and small table
Still some new port kinks to work out but an amazing stop
Beach day at Blue Kay, it was OK , price very good but beach was dirty and chairs and loungers have seen better days- great staff
