The cruise is more for those interested in making a difference to the communities of Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic. There are many excursions free of cost to the traveler to chose from and there are shore excursions available for a price.

The Adonia is a small ship thats showing its wear, but extremely clean with a wonderful crew. The crew is mainly Indian and speak excellent English. They will bent over backwards to please you, however if you are on a special dietary diet you need to select a different ship.
