This is our 4th cruise, second on celebrity. I could not have been happier with the Alaskan Cruise on the Solstice (Aqua class). I figured Celebrity would be my cruise line of choice. I did not book Aqua this time and boy do I regret it.

The ship was obviously older as we approached, but once on board the common areas were nicely appointed.

Embarkation was a breeze, veranda stateroom 8***. I was shocked at how unkept and downright dirty this space was. The veranda had paint stains on the deck, as well as one of the chairs. The bed skirt was filthy. I met the cabin steward and tipped him nicely to ensure good service. Imagine my surprise when we retuned to our room after the morning service o discover cups, glasses and debris in the room. It appeared that he made the bed and replaced the towels.
