The port canaveral operation needs a manager to organize their operation. Right now it is a mess. Taxis & shuttles lined up to pay entry fees. Very poor oversight, I'd fire someone. The cruise lines should demand improvement right now.

Once in NCL'S domaine, at pier 10, all went smooth & easy. Not a pretty ship. To me it looks like a barge with a hotel stuck on top.

Well maintained, smart, clean interior decor. Smiling staff who are doing their very best, which is more than I could do considering some of the nasty people, "guests", they have to put up with. 4000 polite, normal guests, & a few mouthy morons who expect everything but are impolite, loud, cheap, ignorant slobs who demand something for nothing.

Cabin Review

Aft-Facing Balcony

Cabin B1

Not a fan of the wave. Would have been O.K., JUST O.K., if it was just my wife & I, but we had my sister-in-law along & the cabin is not suitable for 3. DO NOT LIKE THE NOISY TOILET. Do not like the glass door. Do Not Like NO insulation between the toilet & the cabin. Can even hear how much paper is coming off the roll.

This cabin is small. Lots of storage, electrical, mirrors. Poor lighting. Just O.K. Balcony.

When the ship is idling, at anchor, as in Great Stirrup Cay, it is noisy with the thrusters vibrating...& for some reason I did not expect to feel waves hitting a ship of this size...but you do!

Housekeeping staff were excellent, always above & beyond...& always smiling & cheerful.

Port Reviews

Great Stirrup Cay

Did a great job expanding the facilities here. Really worth getting off the ship.

Cozumel

Just used wi-fi & sat around Margaritaville

Ocho Rios

Rough roads

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Stayed a week on Cocoa Beach. Lots to do in the area. Nice watching the ships departing in the late afternoon. Took uber to the port, leaving the car at the resort, & called uber once we were getting ready to disembark & were met & returned to the resort & our car. This worked out well. The port is a complete mess. It is almost as if they are trying to mess it up. Someone competent should be put in charge of traffic flow.
