We chose this cruise primarily because we got such a great deal on it with great perks. We convinced another couple to go with us & had a great time. If you're looking for perfection on a cruise then you may never find it. I've seen other reviews that seemed to nitpick at the smallest of things, like rust spots on their balcony & such. Guess what? Salt water does that. They take great measures at maintaining the ship while not getting in the way of your vacation. At every port they took the time to wash down the ship & touch up paint as needed.

Service was excellent, food in the main dining room was excellent, and most of the workers were very friendly & seemed to really enjoy their jobs. Our main waiter in the dining room (Richard) has been with Celebrity for 14 years & our stateroom attendant (Oida) has been doing her job for 15 years. The buffet is what you'd expect from a buffet, but there were always options for freshly prepared food, such as omelette station at breakfast, pasta station at lunch & dinner as well as options for cooking various types of meat to your liking.

Captain Kate was great as well. Enjoyed hearing her announcements unlike some other cruises we've done where the captain was either mono tone or had no personality what so ever. This is more of an adult oriented ship so if you're planning travel with children you'd probably be better off with another cruise line. If however you enjoy your vacation MORE without having rambunctious children around, book with Celebrity!

Cabin Review

Ocean View 7

Cabin 07

This room is in a great location. Very close to stairs & elevator but with enough separation that you don't have any foot traffic noise. Fairly centrally located so easy to get to anywhere on the ship quickly. Low noise. I didn't hear any noise from neighbors. Only small complaint would be on port days there must be something the ship deploys when navigating to the port that was a bit noisy fairly early in the morning. Definitely not a deal breaker though. Loved the room & loved our stateroom attendant!

Port Reviews

Martinique

Port is very near town so just hopped off the ship to tour the town a bit. Came across a church being renovated. It was so beautiful on the inside. Very worth seeing.

St. Croix

Beach near the port so literally just got off the boat to enjoy the beach.

San Juan

Did a little self exploring after the cruise & before our flight home. We've been to Puerto Rico on a previous cruise & visited the forts.
