This was our 11th cruise. We were excited to be on this amazing ship. It is truly beautiful and feels like a resort at sea. But overall , once we got passed the glamour of te ship there was a mixed bag on board.
First embarkation took us over an hour to get on board. We had no problem checking our luggage. We breezed througfh security and check in and then went upstairs to a waiting area to wait our turn to board. It was like Disney, with lines and assigned sitting areas. Masses of people with some trying to find some advantages by disregarding instructions. Once on board the cabins were not available until 1:00. The common areas were crowded with no seats available. We went to the Park Cafe for lunch and there was a long line. We eventually got in and the food there was good. I especially liked the sliced beef sandwhiches.
Our cabin was well laid out and was kept very clean by our room steward who was excellent.
Cabin was very effeciently laid out. Bed was extremely comfortable. There was a decent amount of storage. The cabin steward was excellent and kept the cabin very clean and knew when we werent there to do his work. There is a safe in the room. I loved the balcony as I like sitiing ot there and reading overlooking the sea. The bathroom is a littke tight but we had no issues. In general I would book this type of cabin again.
This was a typical Carribean shopping area. It was hot wit the sun beating down with limited shade
We went to a Mexican restaurant that was recommended. If club sandwhiches and hambeugers are Mexican than I would recommend this place. But I dont think they are. Taxis were reasonable and plentiful.
