Week after Thanksgiving - few kids and they were well behaved (but some parents were not). Mostly middle-aged and seniors. Lots of canes, walkers and scooters. However, late night bars and lounges were active.

Pier side before departure was chaos. Port services, taxis, porters, etc. doing their best but chaos caused by confused arriving and leaving passengers; e.g. do not try to get in a shuttle van while others are trying to get out; know the name of your ship when there are more than one ship boarding passengers.

Schedule boarding times were not enforced. Timing of our shuttle to pier put us pier side 2 hours early, but there was no problem entering the terminal, clearing security, verifying documents, being issued cruise card, being assigned an early boarding group and finding seats in the waiting area. Once boarding started things kept moving. I heard that people who arrived at their scheduled times did not have delays. Lines were long but always moving.

Compared to NCL Epic and a few other cruise line ships, there is a lack of storage compartments. We used the couch seating area for storage. Being a convertible couch there is no underneath storage. The bathroom is divided into 3 stations: Shower, sink, toilet. Each station has enough room for an average size person to turn around. If you carry extra weight or are a tall and wide person, you will bump. We did not use the coffee pot. Next time we will ask that it be removed. For us there were enough hangers in the closet. With planning what and when to move items from and to the luggage, we made efficient use of the shelves. Small safe with digital button code above the shelves. It is too high to see clearly because I have progressive lenses. At least it was not on the floor in the back of the closet.

Nice thing about an aft cabin is that there is very little passageway traffic. The first day there a few people in the morning looking for an open deck viewing area. One night there was a couple looking for "the front of the ship." Politely noted to them to look at the carpet in the passageway. The carpet pattern has schools of fish. All of the "fish" swim in the direction of the bow.

Art show storage was across the passageway. Although attempting to be quiet, some mornings they banged and bumped carts loaded with framed paintings. To me not a problem, but I was aware of who was outside my cabin and what they were doing.
