We chose Regents because I wanted to see Egypt and we felt it may be dangerous to fly in.

The ship was newly refurbished and so was the staff. They never let on in booking. I guess cause most cruise sites warn against a newly refurbished ship and they are right. Staff had no clue and we were the training program and a costly one at that. Food and service in Compass Rose poor. Tour guides poor to awful. Fumes from the rugs and refurbishment left me woyh a 21 day sinus problem for the entire cruise. I know cause off the ship it was fine back on it was back and others seemed to be experiencing the same. Shows, not great. Same guy with his puppets most of the time. Pre cruise hotel pretty bad. DisEmbarkation a disaster--- Told to take a taxi if I did not like the transfer offered and I could bring my luggage to the elevator myself. This could have been an amazing cruise given the ports but, it fell very short of basic expectations.
