We decided to do a week getaway before Xmas on the Ovation Of The Seas which offered sector cruising between Singapore & Sydney - too good to pass up.

My husband and 17yr old son flew to Perth on Sunday 4th and had 2 days staying at the Crown Metripol which was lovely beautiful room with pool view and nice big bath :).

We embarked the Ovation on Tuesday 6th our allocated time was 12:00 - 12:30, unfortunately the process didn't follow anything that they planned our allocated boarding time was irrelevant as we were given a number which we had to wait to be called - numbers were being handed out randomly as you walked in, we were given an 8 people behind us got a 6 and boarded 45 mins before us.
