We enjoy the sea days on repositioning cruises, and this 14-day Oceania Riviera voyage from Barcelona to Miami gave us five in a row, from Madeira to Bermuda. The meals were excellent, and the service exceptional. The penthouse suite cabin was very roomy with a comfortable bed and lots of storage space, including a walk-in closet. The cruise director, Nolan Dean was among the best (great sense of humor, and a high level of energy) we have had on Oceania or Azamara. In addition, the art class, expertly provided by Graham Denison the resident artist in the Artist’s Loft, was really fun. We painted in acrylics, although his forte is oil, using the palette knife. There were typically two class sessions per day during sea days. One small downside to our experience was that team trivia was held in the lounge, using theatre style seating. This is not very conducive to team trivia. The other negative point was the disembarkation in Miami, which was disorganized and very slow. In summary, however, this was an A level cruise. We do love Oceania!

Port Reviews

Cartagena (Spain)

Wine tour to Bullas was somewhat disappointing

Nassau

beaches were not very good, too shallow or too rocky. Wouls have liked something in between.
