We've sailed on RC a number of times. There were a number of great improvements, and a few missteps. 1. Glad to see that there was no excessive pushing of drinks in the pool areas. 2. Glad to see that there was no excessive picture taking in the dining room. 3. Shows, headliners especially, were GREAT! 4. We had dinner at Chops, a speciality restaurant - food and service were the best 5. There was a center front special table in the Windjammer for a number of meals. That was nice! Two mornings were homemade donuts. One afternoon was a Mexican taco/nacho bar. Nice touch! What wasn't right: 1. Service to clean up dishes and glasses from pool areas was lacking. Dishes and glasses sat for 3-4+ hours. 2. Menus...what was printed and posted didn't match what was on the digital board. One night the chef's recommendation on the menu didn't match the offerings! :) We'll make dining decisions based on the menus...and this was a big disconnect for us. 4. Windjammer - lack of consistency in placement of food items, and placements on occasion didn't make sense (for example, croutons on salad bar at beginning of line). 5. PAPER waste - there is no on board app, so paper is still necessary. There was a confusion as to what night was formal night (Compass said that night was 'smart casual', but it was formal) We returned from excursion to THREE pieces of paper in our cabin that told us about the mix up. For the loyalty group meetup, they had to reschedule it because of whether...they reprinted the invitation on nice stock with envelope and delivered it to cabin AFTER the meetup time. 6. Windjammer - for hot beverages, they had paper cups. Not a bad thing given that people take ceramic cups onto pool deck...but there were no covers or bands, so people were using 2-3 nested cups just to hold the cup 7. Rest rooms need small paper towels to open door and trash bucket outside of door, sign on paper towels says to use for opening door but there is no trash bucket within reach. 8. They need to upgrade technology – too much writing of folio numbers for purchases 9. Wish they'd keep the ice cream/froyo open when the Windjammer was open. Only open from lunch on. The ports were typical Caribbean ports - St Croix, Barbados, Grenada, Dominica, St. Maarten. All had their bit of charm, lots of shops, and taxi drivers galore! :)

Some good, some not so good
