  3. Pride of America
We were a little disappointed with this cruise as we were looking forward to it for 12 months. Did not seem to have any time to relax onboard as we seemed to be forever taking shore excursions, which you have to do to see the islands. All the island tours are very similar and the commentary from the drivers (tour guides) is the same on every island. (Tuned out on the comments after hearing about Captain Cook and sugarcane, coffee and pineapple plantations, which are now all rundown and closed) Cabins (balcony) were quite good, the refurbished ship was nice, dining was not to our liking (had to ask about a lot of the meals) the Entertainment was very good, BUT the price of Alcohol was outrageous (the cheapest bottle of wine was $us 36 which converted to $aus 44 (bottles of wine on the islands were in the vicinity of $us 15) We booked the shore excursion through Roberts rather than the ship and saved a lot of money, but as I said you see 1 island and you've seen them all. We come from Australia and were so disappointed in their beaches, ours are just so much better.
