We took a 7 day Disney cruise out of Galveston on the Wonder with my family of 4, my sister's family of 4 and our parents. Overall, the cruise was a wonderful experience filled with memories that will last a lifetime. The ship had just come out of dry dock and it was completely renovated including the staterooms. We were the second group to sail on it and it was nice and clean. There were plenty of activities for everyone to do. Our kids ranged from 6-10 years old and they had a blast. They kids club was fun and they kept asking to go back. They showed first run Disney movies on the ship.

The dining experience was top notch. The Animation Palace restaurant was incredible and such a fun experience. Our waiters Tino and Jack were amazing and so fun! They doted on our kids, doing magic tricks and making them feel special. The food was great and abundant. We canceled our reservation at Palo because we were having too much fun at the other restaurants with our waiters.

The entertainment on the ship was up to Disney standard. My nieces especially loved the shows. We were one of the first groups to see the new Frozen musical and while the puppets were a little hokey, the show overall was very entertaining. Contrary to other reviewers comments, we saw Disney characters EVERYWHERE! They were in the lobby taking pictures, walking the hallways, and in the kids club entertaining the kids. We took several photos with various characters from Disney princesses to Mickey Mouse to Superheros.

2638 and 2640 were adjoining rooms. While they had been remodeled and were nice from an aesthetic standpoint, the noise and vibration from the engine was horrible. It sounded like a freight train in our room every night and the bed in 2640 moved all night as if there was a continuous earthquake. We were not happy with our accommodations because it was impossible to sleep under those conditions. Jay at customer services offered us new rooms but we needed adjoining rooms so we chose not to move. Stay away from the back of the ship.
