Sail Date: Nov 2016
Cabin: Penthouse Suite

This cruise being a repositioning cruise offered a penthouse with butler at an affordable price on one of Oceania newer vessels the Riviera..The butler was able to get us into the specialty restaurants on additional nights as well as deliver in room breakfast of any food not only the ones listed on the breakfast card

Highlights included some outstanding tours particularly the one organized by the Culinary Institute in Madeira which includes sampling wines shopping in an open market where we were give 5 euros per individual to buy food and lunch where we were able to taste some local dishes such as the black scabbard fish

The ships food is excellent and I particularly love the lobster tails off the grill. The entertainment ranged from excellent to mediocre depending on the evening

Cabin Review

Penthouse Suite

Cabin PH2

The cabin was excellent having more drawers and closet space than required The shwer had a door not a shower curtain and there was even a full bathtub

Port Reviews

Barcelona

Gaudi was a "lost for words" architect

Barcelona

we consider this a pretour we stayed several days in Barcelona With the aid of Google Maps we visited La Sagrada Famiilia and 2 other Gaudi building We love the city

Cartagena (Spain)

wine tour was Ok Museum of winje was good but wine tasting was not memorable The rain made the walk from the wine tasting to the bus a bit treacherous through the mud
