I don't know what some of the low rates and haters were doing or taking, but they did NOT describe the FREEDOM at all. I think some people go looking for something to complain about, even when not true. I feel one is an employee of another cruiseline just wanting to give Royal a bad name. We are never hassled on the promenade deck (5), but everyone likes to shop or eat there, that is why it is crowded. The windows are cleaned regularly and anyone living in Florida ought to know that ocean spray sticks to everything and we are a moving vessel. The buffet offers a lot more than some describe, if you look for it instead of going to the same area where the fast food items are located. As far as luggage, everyone is informed it would be delivered by 9 p.m., and is not instant. The security is doing their job when looking into items that could be potential explosives. Large strips is a perfect example, and everyone should want to have a safe trip. Every cruise line uses preferred stores, not just Royal. The crew has always gone out of their way to make our trip a great one. There are no upcharge items, just selections For Specialty dining or drink packages. Everyone should know what there booking offers and they can then choose any opportunities that are available for additional costs. I happen to enjoy the Specialty Restaurants and gladly pay for them. Nobody has to choose their services.The FREEDOM has just replaced all the outside furniture and it is great. The just brought new carpet onboard Sunday and will be doing more renovations. We are still on the ship for two more cruises and if it was not a very pleasant experience, we would not cruise on Royal so often.

Wonderful room, new furnishing and a great room Stewart. A/C was cool and nice hot water for showers.
