This is my 4th Carnival Cruise. I honestly cannot figure out why I have read so many bad reviews about this ship. The service was impeccable-the staff remembered our names and really made us feel special. The activities were entertaining. We had an aft extended balcony on the 5th floor and it was more spacious than I expected. We did have a fridge in our room. The food was good. My daughter especially loved Camp Carnival and the waterslides and met tons of new friends. We were never bored. The serenity deck was relaxing. It seems like there have been some cutbacks, but nothing that would effect the experience. Smaller portion sizes-so what? I can't eat that much anyway and you can always order more or even a second entrée. The ship was clean. I guess my only real complaint is that the casino is very smoky. However any casino I have ever been to stateside has the same issue. You will not find different on any other cruise line.

We love Carnival and will continue cruising with this line in the future.
