We had a good cruise on the Getaway a few months ago and thought we would try Escape. It's close to the same layout, I did like the Guy Harvey theme better and the brew pub but that's about it.

My wife was not happy with our room choice, 10th floor at the front with quite a walk getting to/from the elevators and just the bed to sit on. I had a 30 oz Yeti and filled it up to avoid all the back and forth, but room service would work too. Our room steward was great.

The food was not nearly as good, even at the specialty restaurant. Exceptions were the lobster and lobster Bisque my wife had. Steaks at O'Sheehan's reminded me of a waffle house. My neighbor thinks this is a Norwegian problem, the are skimping with a new CEO cutting costs. Decent meals are in the specialty restaurants, I guess that's the message. The restaurant staff was trying but I think poorly trained, after I asked for a table to be wiped again and the supervisor did a poor job I can see why, even the waiter saw it was a poor job and did it again. The tables in the buffet were not kept clean.
