What can one say about this large ship other than the title I have given this review. Is it big, yes! Bigger than I even imagined it would be without question. We have taken many cruises on various size ships from different cruise lines and without a doubt this was the easiest boarding process we have ever experienced. There was no pushing, no shoving and most important as far as I am concerned I was not subject to the obligatory passage through the 'photography booth'. I found the crew to be most gracious and courteous and most bent over backwards to help us decide when and where to eat on the different evening and lunch time venues.

Although I had that sinking feeling that "all" these people want to have lunch at the same time, I was quite surprised that there was ample room in the Windjammer for the hungry and those folks anxious to pile tons of food on their plates. For a ship of this magnitude to feed 6,000 people at the same time is a testament to organization. After finishing our lunch and going for a walk up on the pool deck, before we had a chance to walk through the boardwalk we were told that our cabins were ready. Our cabin Steward, Bernardo from Columbia was there to greet us and even assisted ingesting us our luggage before we could even unpack our carry ons. Our Balcony overlooking Central Park on Deck 10 was neat and presented well. After unpacking we continued to explore this rather large ship and surprisingly found our way around with little problem. The direction signs are a treat in and of themselves and very easy to follow as are the ship models strategically placed throughout the ship.

As for the shops placed throughout the ship, each one is staffed with knowledgeable and cheerful staff always ready to help. I will say that when there is a street sale on Deck 5 during sea days, it is like a giant bazar with hands all over the place. The street shows and music throughout the voyage were a treat. The shows at the main venues were great, maybe "stupendous" would be the better word to describe Come Fly With Me, Frozen in Time, The Abba Tribute Show and Oceans of Dreams. The comedian was hysterical and not obscene with his routine.

Cabin Review

Central Park View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin C2

Everything about our cabin was fine and our Steward was the Best we have ever had. Our only complaint is that the mattress in Room 10207 has seen better days. I certainly hope someone from Royal Caribbean takes note of this flaw in their ship and I'm sure it's not the only cabin that has this anomaly.
