We had the 4 day extension in Switzerland before our cruise on the Rhine. This was such a wonderful experience. The accommodations in Switzerland and on the ship were really very nice. The food and the service on the cruise were excellent. There wasn't anything they didn't think to provide and everyone was so very friendly and helpful. We honestly wouldn't have changed anything. The food was fabulous and there were so many choices. All of the tours were interesting and the guides all spoke English very well. Many guides had a great sense of humor too. The groups were always a reasonable size. There were plenty of choices for the tours and all were included in the cruise price. Only two tours in Switzerland (before the cruise) were extra. We have already booked another river cruise with Ama Waterways in May on the Danube and can't wait to go.
