Sail Date: Nov 2016

We chose this cruise for the itinerary and due to our friends not been to the Caribbean before so it was maximising the visit. In actual fact it is 2 seven day cruises back to back taking in 12 islands and 2 sea days.

First impressions not good with check in at the airport. Two members of staff who could not cope and our wait in the queue was over an hour. This was an all-inclusive package yet on the plane there were charges for little things like a bag of crisps!

First impressions of the ship - lots of money spent on the public areas but the cabin was a let down. There is definitely not enough seats in the atrium area and it is badly designed despite the money spent. We booked a rear facing cabin 6122 and actually got slightly more space than some of the other cabins. Two sun loungers, inside sofa and table - there was a lot of cabin space but the shower was incredibly small. Our room was dated and lots of silly things in the cabin made me wonder about the ship and it's upkeep. Drawers had not been cleaned from the previous occupant - hair, dirt and a receipt from duty free still there. The coat hooks on the wall - both loose, the door lock falling out and the carpet was grubby. Veranda was filthy with cigarette ends from previous occupants not cleaned. Not a great start.
