VISTA - No Elegance. Plain, contemporary style décor and furnishings. Only white dining room tablecloths on formal nights. No enforcement of dress code (shorts and no collar t-shirts at dinner). Poor quality beef served, except at the specialty steak restaurant and in the dining room on formal nights. Buffet entrees were poorly prepared and cool. Liked the Italian and Asian restaurants at lunch at no extra charge, and Mexican and Pizza venues. Hamburgers over done and cool, french fries limp and cold. No International café next to the coffee café for different goodies of all kinds. Likes the ice cream serve at lunchtime. Service is still good in the dining room and cabins, as you would expect.

Very small show floor and all acts extending into the seating area, making it hard to see through people. Many views blocked by columns. Shows were mostly poor or of crude taste and offensive behavior, with the exception of the violinists in the atrium. No appropriate music to dance to in entertainment/bar areas. Had to go to the Micro-brewery to dance to popular great guitar music.

No typically free entrance to the therapy Spa, without $119 fee to join a membership. We like to use it on cold bad weather days and is usually less crowded, with better jets and hotter. The 8 hot tubs around this huge ship were inadequate to handle the usage. One back deck hot tube/pool area reserved at times for suite cabin usage. Couldn’t hear movies outside on deck at night due to noise. Water slides terrific. Giant ship, get ready to do lots of walking. No small fun activities like on smaller, more elegant Carnival ships.
