Sail Date: Nov 2016
Cabin: Family Inside Stateroom
Traveled with children

The Escape was our 6th cruise with NCL and our 9th cruise overall. Like with most vacations, we had some good and bad moments, here is a list of our experience.

MENTIONABLE PROS:

- Nice large kids splash pad with a kiddie water slide

Cabin Review

Family Inside Stateroom

Cabin I1

We had two rooms, one balcony and one inside.

- Balcony suites are a typical of NCL

- Balcony suite washroom is BIG with two sinks and almost normal size bath tub

- Beware of mid-ship inside cabins on the 9th floor as the live music will resonate into the

cabins until 11:30pm on certain nights. So loud that you can hear the words and feel the

vibration

- Room had very limited storage - normally there are storage all over the cabins, but not

this ship. No hooks in room.

- Mattress is horrible - ask for double mattress topper!

- Bunk bed mattress is even worse

- Family inside is small, very very very small. No seating area just beds. If you are four

average sized people, you will not enjoy this space

- When you push the single bottem beds together you will not be able to see the tv or sit up

in bed due to the bunk beds

Port Reviews

St. Thomas

$8 per person taxi to Meghan's Bay. $5 entrance fee fot adults, kids 12 and under are free. Chair rental $7 each. Very crowded.

Nassau

Walked to Junkaroo Beach - about 10-15 min walk. Good snorkelling. Free chairs in certain areas if you buy from vendor or two lounge chairs, paddle boat and kayak for $25

Tortola

Small shopping area. Locals are pretty chill not demanding.

Miami

Ride from FLL to port of Miami about 45-50 min. FLL airport has no shopping and is very busy.
