This was about my 7th cruise on NCL but first on their smallest ships. The Cabin (11506) and housekeeping staff was excellent. The Food service was very good. The operating crew was timely and informative. Then I asked about a few benefits as a Latitude member (Gold) and was quite disappointed. First day out I requested a ship pin for this ship. I was told they had run out just the cruise before. I asked whom to see about having one sent to me and was told, twice, that they are unable to do this sort of support. The Supervisor for the Latitude service on ship asked me why I was concerned, just write Corporate. I advised if they were unable to take care of little things , how could I trust them on anything larger? I was ignored at this point. I may ignore NCL next trip I take. Two other minor things that made me a little unhappy. The Latitude Cocktail party (5:30) was scheduled at dinner time (5-9)on Thanksgiving Day. Poor timing as I eat at 5. The sea day Monitors gave different times and locations than the printed daily. Turns out the daily was correct most of the times but I do not carry the paper copy to the pool area ,etc. These three items were minor but the total result was I was upset and did not enjoy what was otherwise a very good cruise.
Very nice room and excellent staff for housekeeping. Good room to watch setting sail and docking. You see the crew and shore teams at work
isolated but the staff is very helpful. Still being built so in half a year or so it should be a fantastic port
Departure port. Lots to do but take care on Bourbon street as there are loads of drunks and panhandlers. Police work extremely well to take care of visitors. And the food.....wow!
