We were traveling with my sister, brother in law & another couple we met on our last cruise in March to the Panama Canal. We all live in Florida so we drove separately to the port with no problems. The enbarcation was okay....our line was next to the priority line but even though there were about 6 agents, they kept sending the priority to all before sending any in our line when they could have kept maybe half for each line. We had a mini suite (D624) which was nice and our steward was great.
Our biggest problem with the line now is the bombarding of sales everywhere.... art/photos/shops/TV/seminar/programs etc. We get a mini suite as we like to relax in our cabin at points during the day on our deck or couch. The TV is not worth turning on....each day the same program (Love Boat episode or movie for example) repeats all day. They have one music channel which every time we turned it on had latin music even though they have a Rock & Roll themed club now.
Only my husband did 2 of the excursions to dive in Roatan & Cozumel. The 1st was not good (seemed rushed & only took them out a few yards from their shop) but the 2nd was good. All 6 of us did a private cave tubing tour with Vitalino Reyes (www.cavetubing.bz) which was fantastic. The price was only $45 so much less than any Princess tour.
The cabin was nice with a "normal size" bathroom with tub/shower combo. The balcony is not covered but I was able to sit close enough to the divider between cabins to get out of the sun. The beds were comfortable as was the couch. We have had a full suite several times which of course we prefer but for this short 6 day we decided to down size.
