We have been looking at Oasis class for our family Thanksgiving vacation for a couple of years, and decided to book the Harmony. New ship, water slides for the kids, flowrider, zipline, ice skating etc. The disappointment was that these advertised activities were available for limited times. With 4000+ people on board, that only increases the lines. Ice skating was only available for 4 half hour sessions one morning, 3 sessions that afternoon, and 4 or 5 sessions the last night of the cruise.
The food was good, but average. Staff was friendly and attentive, but if you didn't have reservations, you seemed to have to wait. Even though tables were empty. This lead us to believe they were short staffed. Believe them when they say allow 2 hours for the dining room. Some nights the pace was really slow.
I liked that they had wash sinks as you enter the main buffet area, instead of just chemical hand sanitizer. And most people did stop and wash at the sinks. These were only at the main "Windjammer" buffet, not at the other buffets or dining locations.
Large balcony room was very comfortable. Great bed. Attendant friendly and kept everything clean. Thank you.
Just missed the towel animals.
Live in Florida and rented a one way car, going and coming home. Worked great.
Family day at the beach. Spent some time in the waves, then went to the inside beach to try snorkeling. Water murky and lacking any sign of fish. Missed the food altogether as it was pretty far away. Still enjoyed the day.
Daughter and children enjoyed trip to Dunns Falls and Bobsleding. We just wandered around Royals retail area and stopped in Margaritaville. Restful afternoon.
Enjoyed a short walk to snorkeling. Water is clear in Cozumel and was able to see some fish. Rough water getting out by the concrete steps as someone had removed the pier ladder.
