We chose this cruise as a spare of the moment thing and were not expecting anything since this is our first time cruising. We heard a lot about other cruises but we didn't know anyone who had gone in a Norwegian cruise before so we did not know what to expect.

We got there around 4:30 pm and were allowed to go in at around 5 pm. The check in was ok and quite fast. Once we got on the ship we went directly to our room and it was nice. We had a onceanview room for three people (2 adults, 1 kid). Overall the room was very nice with a lot of space to put all your stuff but the bathroom was extremely small. Now, I am not a claustrophobic person but I could not stay in that bathroom with the door closed. Next time I will look for a room with a bigger bathroom.

The beds were put together and my kid's bed was on top of our bed. I didn't like the fact that if you open the kid's bed, we could not see the TV. Since we have a kid, we are not out enjoying the night activities so they should think about changing the tv position for parents who have to stay in their rooms at night. They should also provide a few more channels to watch (they only had the ships' channels, about 4 news channels, 1 tv show channel, 1 movie channel). Read more
