We were looking for a little entertainment on board, and we were not disappointed in the least. It's been a few cruises since we've been on a Carnival cruise and one of the things we missed most were the comedy shows. There were two great comedians on board (Al Romas and Sid Davis) and they kept us laughing the whole cruise. The other good surprise was the illusionist Mark Bennick who put on a really good show.

Dining was typical, we ate in the late dining at a table for eight every night, our only occasion to see our table mates was on the "cruise elegant" night. The majority of passengers was in the early seating, and the entertainment schedule was split nicely so that we didn't have to compete for seats at the shows being in the late dining. The dining staff were great and Dwayne of the barstaff rounded me up some caffeine free diet cokes for the weeks dining.

One of my favorite places to go was the Vienna Cafe with the two baristas Yasinee and Savina served up some really good spiked coffees. They were really sweet and so patient.

TV is really snowy and this applies to both broadcast and on ship generated channels. Great location by the aft elevator, quiet with only guest cabins above and below you. Convenient to Rio (comedy shows, dining rooms, and Lido Feed Bag). The lack of nightstands seems to add to the size of the room, making it a bit more spacious.
