Embarkation at Singapore was a nightmare, 2 hours and 15 minutes in really bad conditions never mind the heat the fumes from the bus station very choking, and this goes down as our worst ever embarkation, once on the ship our problems really began, we were very tired and just wanted a bit of peace and quiet, but we did not get in hammer banging and power tools being used, we put it down to last minutes preparations, and 2 days later still getting these noises, so we complained, but then we were also getting the noise at night, being woken up at 0200, 0300, in fact all hours of the night, so we complained, and were visited by various ships personal, what was done to stop these noises !!! absolutely nothing, until the 19th day of our back to back cruise, we had to request a meeting with the manager of guest relations, to get it sorted, and the sources of the noises was maintenance work on the funnel (stack).

The shore excursions and tender operations were a joke with delays after delays due to bad organisation and poor communication between staff.

The great barrier reef was a disappointment due to delays sitting on the wrong boat for 50 minutes(which we were taken to by ships staff) the reef platform was well past its sell by date, and the equipment used for snorkelling was dirty and disgusting and we had to clean it as best we could before using it, all in all not a five star experience as promised,this holiday was once in a life time !!! and going off our experience off celebrity Solstice !!! thank god its only once, we were offered reductions on a future cruise !!!
