Sail Date: Nov 2016
Cabin: Classic Balcony

We have just returned from our Med cruise on board the Costa Diadema.

We have previously sailed with Cunard, NCL, Carnival and Royal Caribbean.

Overall, we enjoyed our first cruise with Costa. The Diadema is a large ship and it took us most of the holiday to find our way around.

Cabin Review

Classic Balcony

Cabin BC

Our balcony cabin was excellent. Very clean and lots of space.

Port Reviews

Barcelona

Industrial port

Palma de Mallorca (Majorca)

Nice port, although not enough shuttle buses waiting on standby by the ship.

Rome (Civitavecchia)

Fairly long commute into Rome. I would advise taking a taxi if in a party.

La Spezia (Cinque Terre)

Shuttle bus available into the town.

Savona

Best port in the itinerary. Easy walk into town, very pretty.

Marseille

The port is industrial and not very pleasant. About 15 minute drive from Marseille.

The harbour area is okay but the town appears to be in decline.
