This was our 25th cruise, quite a few with Norwegian. There were 7 of us.Just like last year we took it mainly for our grand children, who enjoyed the cruise a lot. Otherwise a big ship and Miami is the worst combination.
Positives ; the ship is nice, very clean throughout. The restaurants, bars , the Garden Cafe and halls were accommodating. The service in ALL restaurants was very good.
The cabin service, as on all cruise lines, was very good as well. Numerous activities and entertainment for the children, teens and the younger guests were extremely satisfactory. The library was perfect.
Our balcony cabin was extremely tight making it quite uncomfortable. The wardrobe being so close to the bed makes it very difficult when dressing and undressing. I have heard other guests complain about the room sizes ! In all the cruises we have sailed the cabin/steward service has always been satisfactory. So was our experience on Getaway
The port is terrible. Cruising out Miami scenery is gorgeous
A complimentary, simple barbecue lunch as offered on other private islands would have been a plus for Norwegian...We know you spent a fortune but that stop is Norwegian's choice, not of the guests !
The beach was nice the location is man-made except for the 800 inhabitants .
One of the best port-of-calls in the Caribbean.
