Embarkation was well organized from the moment we were welcomed by the bag drop staff, to the port staff directing us where to go, and the seamless check in, customs and security procedures.

The first thing we noticed was that there were A LOT of children getting on board with their families. We were expecting it to be a romantic holiday for my husband and I, due to this being the middle of the school term, and figured we'd be less surrounded by children as the Kids Club drew them away. We were grossly incorrect, and continued to be beset on all sides for the duration of the cruise. We surmised that due to there being such a plethora of family and child centers activities available, that this ship is very attractive for this brand of traveller, and would recommend it to families. Couples looking for a romantic break should definitely go elsewhere.

Our balcony cabin was well cleaned and maintained by our room attendant, who made our days brighter through his fastidious attention to detail, and thoroughly positive personality. We were given a new towel animal to come home to each day, which ended up becoming a menagerie by the end of our cruise, and made a great final photo before leaving the ship.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E3

The balcony gives an unobstructed view of the ocean and is big enough to stretch out on the chairs for two people.

The room layout allows space to relax on a good sized sofa or stretch out on the bed, with space enough to be comfortable walking around the bed to get to the balcony.

The cupboard supplied ample room for two people to comfortably house two very full large bags worth of clothing for the 11days worth of items we stored in there, including the 2 small carry on bags we stowed on the floor of the cupboard. The large bags fit comfortably underneath the bed.

We needed to request extra milk for our tea (we brought our own tea, as we know from experience that the tea provided onboard is fairly terrible quality), but after requesting it once, our cabin attendant always provided extra each day.

The cabin was kept exceptionally clean and tidy, and well maintained for the duration of our stay.
