First time on Norwegian. NEVER again. Check in was a nightmare. We reserved a large group thru Norwegian. I was never told by the less than helpful agent that since my under 18 son had a different last name, I would need to show a birth certificate at check in. Gee, we reserved it thru them, they had all his info and yet NO ONE thought to tell me? We get to the terminal and are almost turned away because I can't prove he is my son! I'm not in the habit of carrying his birth certificate with me so he had to call his father, who had to write a letter, snap a picture of it with his drivers license and text it to them! Imagine if he would not have been home to do that??

Almost everything on this ship is an upcharge, so be prepared. The tendering process was a complete joke. They asked you to reserve time slots, but when it came down to it, it was "first come first served" as announced by the staff. After waiting almost 1 -1/2 hours we are hearded into the theater, then staff did not communicate and wound up taking people who waited less time before those who were there longer. This resulted in a near lynching, passengers literally yelling at staff that they were there first.

Dining was a joke also. We made reservations because we had a huge group, yet still had to wait upwards of 30 minutes while they figured out the tables. They were reluctant to put 2 tables together. Gee, why would we want tables at the opposite ends of the restaurant? Hostess staff were rather annoyed with us in most cases when all we did was request tables be close together! Our party had 2 members in wheelchairs. Trying to maneuver them into the buffet area was very difficult. There were NO handicap table spaces at all. We constantly had to move chairs out of the way to bring the chairs up to the table. With the amount of people we saw in wheelchairs and scooters you would think they would have an area specially designed for seating! Nope.

Cabin Review

Cabin Balcony

Average. Balcony is TINY.

Port Reviews

Great Stirrup Cay

I understand this was the first time it was opened for several months due to damage from hurricane. Not impressive. Beaches were average, lines for buffets were long. Went to 1 bar for a pina colada and was told the blender was broken. Really? food was average
